Firstly well done for taking part in this challenge, it's bee personally very exciting for me to see you all clocking up the miles.

Congratulations to Heather who completed 26.2 miles in only 7 days!! You're the lucky winner of a FREE month of CaRT!

Anyone who has already completed don't forget to post and update on the group so we can all share in your success and to those who have yet to complete YOU CAN DO THIS! We're with you all the way!!

Time to work on your upper body!

Here is your homework specially designed to improve your running.

Time to further improve your upper body strength to get you powering along nice and efficiently. AND press-ups do feature!!

So once again, if you want to run further, faster and fitter (triple F running) then you gotta learn to love the press-up!

Running Homework

If you can't make it to group the next couple of weeks here's some homewor for you:

  1. Jog gently for 5 minutes
  2. Jog flat out as fast as you can for as long as you can - make note of how long you ran in minutes
  3. Jog gently for 5 minutes
  4. Try to do this at least once per week
  5. AND Good Luck!

This week:

Try to come to both Tuesday and Friday Sessions

Schedule your upper body workout (download left) and guess what? DO IT!

If you've time in your week for a third run here's what i'd like you to do:

  • Warm up for 5-8 minutes - jogging/walking and lunge sequence
  • Jog at a slow pace for 4 mins/ jog fast for 2 mins
  • Jog at a slow pace for 2 mins/ run fast for 1 min
  • Jog at a slow pace for 1 min/ sprint for 30 secs
  • Repeat 2 times
  • Walk to cool down and stretch afterwards
